Almost synonymous with Zodiac, diving watches are the category of watches for which the brand is best known. The Super Sea Wolf which is Zodiac's diver's watch has its roots in the 1950s when it came out as the world's second diver's watch ever created, the same year Blancpain created their counterpart; Fifty Fathoms, and a year before the Rolex Submariner was launched.
However, Zodiac was the first to create a rotating diving ring, something that is now standard on all diving watches.
Ever since, Zodiac has stayed true to its design roots. In addition to the Super Sea Wolf collection, the Zodiac Olympus collection is one of the company's historic models (based on the 'Manta' model from 1961). It is a dressy model that is anything but classic with shapes that, despite its historical roots, are still an innovative model with unique shapes and durable exterior.
Zodiac's watches are fully constructed by hand on site in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland, which is one of the watch districts in Switzerland where several watch brands are based.
The average water resistance is 200 meters and all automatic movements used are in-house manufactured. Precision, design and craftsmanship are the watchwords that Zodiac has long followed.
